IT Recycling Event

If you have old electronics that you don’t know what to do with, then it is your lucky day.  This weekend is the Fall Electronics Clean Out Day (ECO) Day.  You can get rid of everything from old cell phones, televisions and VCR’s to your old computer towers and monitors.   Roanoke Natural Foods Co-op is partnering up with 1-800-GOT JUNK and Natural Awakenings Magazine to host this fall event.

The general rule for E-Waste is that ihas a plug (versus a combustion engine); however, many battery-operated devices qualify.  Call Jeff Sharpe at 1-800-GotJunk for more information.  Here is a listing of Accepted Items:

• Computers (monitors, towers, laptops, keyboards, mouse)
• Printers, scanners, external hard drives, networking equipment
